About Karen
Karen was born in Monterey, CA and spent most of her childhood in Monterey Co before moving to Lodi, CA in jr high. In 1998 Karen moved to Chico to attend Chico State, where she was a college cheerleader and studied Public Relations, and had an amazing Media Relations internship with the Sacramento Kings. Upon graduating, Karen began working for a local clothing company in sales, and purchased her first home in Forest Ranch, CA with her then-fiancée Zac at the age of 23. Over the years Karen has served the local community through her positions at Enloe and Chico State, and has run a successful downtown business with her husband while raising their son Wyatt and daughter Carys (and their 3 dogs!). Karen enjoys camping, boating, Pilates, cheering for her son at his high school football games (Go Vikings!) and her daughter at her jr high basketball games (Go Pioneers!), as well as traveling with her daughter’s competitive dance team. Fun fact: Karen is a dual Swedish-American citizen and speaks fluent Swedish - Hon skulle älska att sälja ditt hem!
